Senior Accountant (356)

Our client, a Medical Devices / Healthcare company, is looking for a Senior Accountant (356) for their Centennial, CO location.
 
Responsibilities:

• The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the finance team’s mission to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to facilitate the decision-making of key internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct month-end close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Support the quarterly reviews and year-end audit with the independent auditors.
• Perform research and analytical review on significant transactions.
• Has a strong ability and interest to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and provide guidance on accounting-related matters.
• Ad-hoc accounting related projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; master’s in accounting/CPA preferred
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills
• Positive and helpful attitude, along with commitment to process improvements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in accounting roles
• Proficiency in large accounting software (SAP or similar ERP experience) and advanced MS Excel skills.
