POSITION SUMMARY:

Kemper is seeking a Senior Accident & Health Claims Adjuster to support our organization's Health Claims team. As a Senior Accident & Health Claims Adjuster, you will support our customers by processing claims with adherence to company policies and contract provisions, in full accordance with the law. This position will allow you to help families in a time of significant need.

LOCATION:

  • Hybrid if in St. Louis, MO. The office located in Chesterfield, MO.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate claims based on documentation received
  • Provide timely follow-ups regarding those claims via letter, email, and telephone
  • Ensure appropriate resolution of claim
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or equivalent work experience is a plus.
  • An internship of other prior work experience in a corporate office is preferred.
  • Intermediate Word and Excel skills are required.
  • The ability to become proficient in navigation of the homegrown applications we utilize for claim handling.
  • Prior health claims experience is a plus.
