Akkodis is seeking a Senior Ab Initio ETL Developer for a Contract job with a client in Nashville, TN (Onsite). The ideal candidate must have strong hands‑on experience in Ab Initio ETL development, along with solid SQL skills and the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance complex data pipelines.
Rate Range: $80/hour to $84/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Ab Initio ETL Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and enhance Ab Initio ETL graphs based on business and project requirements.
Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows, including new graph development and enhancement of existing flows.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis on data and code defects.
Optimize ETL processes by performing performance tuning and improving graph efficiency.
Work on defects, change requests, and data transformation issues across multiple datasets.
Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in daily/weekly status meetings, client discussions, and onsite coordination.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of experience in Ab Initio ETL development (must-have).
Strong expertise in Ab Initio components (Join, Dedup, Sort, Reformat, Rollup, Merge, Gather, Filter by Expression).
Deep understanding of Ab Initio parallelism concepts, graphs, and execution plans.
Strong SQL skills (basic to intermediate level required).
Ability to debug and analyze ETL code and data issues effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with UNIX/Linux commands and scripting
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (SCDs, joins, transformations, rollups, null key handling)
Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins)
Experience in logistics or supply chain domain (nice-to-have)

Pay Details: $80.00 to $84.00 per hour
