Job Store Staffing is seeking experienced Semi-Conductor Assemblers for a manufacturing environment focused on precision work and quality-driven processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in detailed assembly, understands industry standards, and is comfortable working with small parts and technical documentation.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay: $17-23/hour
Duration: 4-6 months
What You Will Be Doing:
- Build assemblies using work instructions, work orders, and technical drawings
- Perform quality checks throughout the process to ensure products meet required standards
- Test finished products and identify defects
- Set up equipment for production and complete minor preventive maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Track and complete required documentation for quality and production
- Support and guide team members on tasks and skill development as needed
What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Strong experience with hand soldering and mechanical assembly
- Ability to complete rework and repairs using proper soldering techniques
- Familiarity with industry standards (IPC, J-STD, NASA standards preferred)
- Experience with NASA 8739 and/or J-STD-001 Space Addendum is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Additional Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working with small parts and detailed processes
- Visual acuity testing may be required, including near vision and color distinction
