BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Stanislaus County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA), Executive Director, plan organize, control and direct the fiscal procedures and functions of the SELPA and prepare and present fiscal reports to the SELPA Superintendents'' Council; act in an advisory capacity to districts in Special Education funding; organize and conduct meetings with district administrators relative to SELPA fiscal matters; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor''s degree in accounting or related field and five years increasingly responsible accounting experience in a school district or county school office. Experience in Special Education finance in a California educational agency is highly desirable. A combination of education, training, and experience that could provide the desired skills, knowledge and abilities may be considered. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION: •Copy of transcripts showing proof of Degree (Can be unofficial at the time of application) LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid driver's license, or evidence of equivalent mobility, to be maintained throughout employment.
