    Select Account Manager - Property & Casualty
    Location: Remote

    At Alera Group, our Property & Casualty team helps businesses protect their assets, manage risk, and plan confidently for the future. We're seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager who will support risk strategy, client service excellence, and operational accuracy.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    What You'll Do / Your Impact
    Client Partnership & Risk Strategy
    • Manage a dedicated book of small commercial clients with a focus on retention and account performance
    • Lead the renewal process by evaluating exposures, identifying coverage gaps, and recommending tailored solutions
    • Advise clients on coverage options and identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
    • Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring a high-quality client experience and proactively addressing service needs
    Operational Excellence
    • Prepare and present proposals, insurance summaries, and quotes
    • Ensure timely handling of service requests including certificates, endorsements, billing issues, and renewals
    • Maintain accurate documentation in agency management systems
    • Ensure compliance, data integrity, and adherence to internal procedures
    • Support audits, reporting, and operational best practices
    Strategic Contribution
    • Identify growth opportunities and support new business initiatives
    • Serve as a client advocate during the claims process, coordinating with carriers for resolution
    • Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions
    • Contribute to retention goals and client satisfaction through consistent, high-quality service

    QUALIFICATIONS

    What You Bring
    Required
    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance or related client service role
    • Experience managing client relationships and servicing commercial accounts
    • Strong communication and relationship management skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    Preferred
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Experience with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Professional designations or certifications preferred

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    Compensation:
    Hourly range: $23 - $34 per hour. Compensation within this range will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

    Work Model:
    This role is Remote-preference for MD, DE, PA, VA, or candidates residing in the Eastern Timezone.
