Position Overview
Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a Board-Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our clinical team in Murrieta, California in a part-time faculty role supporting a residency-based outpatient clinic. This physician will play an essential role in supervising and mentoring residents while providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative academic environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about medical education, evidence-based clinical practice, and mentoring the next generation of physicians while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
Schedule & Clinical Structure
Minimum commitment of 2-4 clinic days per month
Primary clinic days: Wednesdays and Thursdays
Additional operating room time available on other days based on physician availability and patient surgical needs
Flexible scheduling for surgical cases
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient obstetrics and gynecology care to clinic patients
- Supervise and teach OB/GYN residents during clinic sessions
- Ensure residents practice according to current evidence-based clinical guidelines
- Participate in case discussions, clinical teaching, and mentorship
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the clinic
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active or eligible for California medical licensure
- Experience or strong interest in teaching residents and medical education
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine and high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication and mentorship skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior academic or residency teaching experience
- Experience supervising trainees in a clinical or teaching environment
