As a Security Unarmed Officer - Shipyard Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observed incidents, hazards, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
