Dewberry is seeking a talented Security/Technology (Low Voltage) Designer to enhance our Technology group within the Engineering Design Center located in Birmingham, AL. In this dynamic role, you will leverage your 3+ years of experiencein low-voltage systems while also embracing the chance to develop your expertise across various technical disciplines and management. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong technology design background who are enthusiastic about contributing to innovative security solutions.
The Security/Technology Group is a specialized group of individuals responsible for security electronics, telecommunications infrastructure, and audio/visual designs for a variety of project types, including K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, Justice/Public Safety, and Commercial.
The individual will be responsible for performing and overseeing the work committed to in proposals, and performing and leading the appropriate resources to do the work for each discipline area. The individual will assist Project Managers by providing design resources – a design team - to help meet the client’s desires and budget. Duties would also include some involvement in direct sales and assisting with sales efforts for multidisciplinary projects, and providing the design/engineering resources and guidance to accomplish our commitments.
