About the location:
The Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles is a 12-story tower comprising 59 custom for-sale homes with outstanding views of the surrounding Beverly Hills neighborhood and Hollywood Hills. Operated by Four Seasons, our homeowners experience best in class amenities, including a courtyard pool and private cabanas, IMAX Theatre and Lounge, a fully equipped fitness center with climate-controlled studio, and a Resident's Lounge offering a Food and Beverage program throughout the day. Our team will provide thoughtful, intuitive, and dedicated service to our homeowners, who will either live full time in the building, or from time to time as their travels bring them to LA. As part of the residence team in a Four Seasons standalone residential property, you will have a unique opportunity to define and establish the operating model for stand-alone Four Seasons Private Residences. It is anticipated that we will be able to create unique opportunities to deliver service excellence, but this will require agility and flexibility in our roles in the service of our homeowners.
About the role
At Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles, the Security Supervisor is an integral part of the team responsible for the security and safety measures throughout the building. The Security Supervisor will support the Security Manager and actively promote and oversee every aspect of the building's physical security and safety for residents, guests, employees, vendors, assets, and reputation 24-hours a day.
The Security Supervisor must be skilled in problem solving with a high attention to detail and personal accountability. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also necessary in day-to-day team supervision for both the coaching and development of the security team. In addition to department specific responsibilities, the Security Supervisor will support all other residential departments daily as part of the collaborative working style of the property.
What you will do:
In the absence of the Security Manager, responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Security Department.
Scheduling and training of all Security Officers, encouraging and mentoring the security team as needed.
Ensure monthly tasks and inventories are completed correctly and on time by each team member assigned.
Maintain the Lost & Found Program including; Shift Logs, Inquiries, Releasing Property, Organization and Cleanliness of the Lost & Found storage.
Supervise the Employee Locker Program ensuring that the Security Officer assigned is keeping records and necessary paperwork accurate.
Assist Security Manager with on-boarding new Security employees.
Assist Security Manager with tracking and training in fire life safety, OSHA required training, safety topics of the month and other safety training.
Assign and create key fobs for staff and residents; control access and conduct lock interrogations.
Maintain and update records of employee and contractor vehicle insurance policies.
Co-chair the Lead with Care committee and facilitate meetings in the absence of the Security Manager.
Complete related duties and special projects as assigned by the Security Manager.
Respond to resident support needs with the highest level of timeliness, hospitality, and professionalism.
Display complete knowledge of the fire/life system and all support systems, their functions and emergency response procedures.
Promote fire prevention, safety and security awareness, and enforcement throughout the property to reduce accidents and loss by providing training as required.
Patrol building noting and correcting safety, security, and fire hazards. Able to walk/run upstairs while carrying a fire extinguisher.
Respond with urgency to all emergency conditions and events such as medical assistance / injuries, fires, power failures, floods, leaks, etc.
Implement all policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
Write comprehensive incident reports and conduct thorough investigations with discretion. Maintain report records, assist and follow-up on investigations.
Provide services addressing residential unit electronic lock problems/reprogramming and basic maintenance.
Act as a liaison with all law enforcement agencies, city and federal agencies and neighboring businesses.
Assist with emergency and department phone monitoring, closed circuit television monitoring, alarm monitoring, vendor/solicitor/visitor access, and key control.
Complete the daily log and the shift checklist, including pass-down information for the upcoming shift.
Demonstrate professional communication when utilizing all two-way radios and HotSOS devices.
Assist Bell/Door, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Engineering departments with responsibilities and duties in their absence or due to heavy volume periods.
What you bring:
Minimum 2 years of Security experience in a luxury environment required.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience, preferred.
Strong understanding and knowledge of Microsoft systems, preferred.
Working knowledge of building life and safety measures, including CCTV systems, access control systems, fire alarm systems, etc.
Troubleshooting and strong problem-solving skills.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Strong customer satisfaction/people skills.
Must have multi-tasking skills in a high volume and demanding environment.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be pro-active in their approach to problem resolution, coaching, and training.

Full Time
Must be flexible with schedule; able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, overtime, evenings, and overnight on occasion.
