As a Security Patrol Driver Shopping Center in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail center, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, security-related environment for guests, tenants, and employees. This driving role combines customer service, communication, and response to concerns while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help maintain a welcoming environment and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, property concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in required reports.
• Assist with traffic flow, visitor directions, and coordination with site management and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
