Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily operations through professional communication and a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and other security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, help to deter unauthorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with post orders and facility requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gate areas, loading zones, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support screening and inspection processes for incoming and outgoing materials, packages, and deliveries when appropriate, and report unusual activity, access issues, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
