As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify hazards, unauthorized activity, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and delivery traffic, verifying credentials, visitor logs, and vehicle activity in accordance with location policies and post instructions.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged barriers, lighting concerns, and policy violations that could impact daily operations and/or create security-related risks at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
