Security Officer - Second Shift

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Greencastle, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access monitoring, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor access as directed by site procedures, and provide clear directions or assistance to guests entering the location.
• Support daily property operations by communicating with building management and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding maintenance issues, suspicious activity, policy violations, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
