As a Security Officer Reception Desk in Orange City, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor front desk activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk responsibilities at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating entry procedures in line with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support daily front desk operations by answering phones, directing foot traffic, receiving deliveries, documenting unusual activity, and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining an attentive presence at the front desk and following established post orders and emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
