Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support security-related operations, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and follow site access control procedures for employees, guests, and delivery personnel.
  • Support security-related operations by completing required reports, communicating clearly with site personnel, and assisting with investigations, evacuations, and/or other response activities as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
