As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, helping to support a secure environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support orderly entry and exit activity.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel to help support daily operations and security-related awareness.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
