As a Security Officer Patrol Access Clerk in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access activities with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, trailer yards, parking areas, loading and unloading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, and communicate with site contacts regarding unusual conditions, operational concerns, and/or security-related issues.
- Support incident documentation and shift communication by maintaining accurate logs, noting daily activities, and sharing updates on observed conditions across the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
