As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time - Morning
Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 21+ years of age
- Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
- Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, observe surroundings, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support access control and screening-related processes at a government location by verifying authorized access, documenting incidents, and communicating clearly with site contacts and/or public agency representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
