Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic transportation location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist travelers and staff with professionalism and care. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.11 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout terminals, public areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and assist with crowd management, directions, and other customer service needs during routine operations and/or service disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
