VERANDA BEACH NIGHT SECURITY

JOB DESCRIPTION;

Responsible for performing protective and enforcement functions to maintain a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for Veranda Beach guests, visitors and employees. Render assistance to guests and employees where needed, as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to tolerate varying conditions of temperature, illumination, and guest temperament.
• Ability to withstand long periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and bending.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to grasp, lift and or carry or other wise move heavy loads up to 75 lbs
• Ability to perform CPR (must maintain a current first aid card)

DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO)  

• Hourly Patrols of all buildings and surrounding areas of Veranda Beach property.
• Lock property entrances when required.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
• Conduct daily temperature reading of all units and log readings in daily log sheet.
• Assist guest with room access when necessary.
• Respond to any and all emergency situations as they arrive, contact EMS and/or administer first aid as required. Assist guests/employees during emergency situations.
• Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents.
• Defuse guest/employee disturbances.
• Handle all interruptions and complaints.
• Complete incident/accident reports and submit to head of security.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests entering Veranda Beach. To insure no unauthorized enter the community premises and to ensure that all persons properly seeking admission are courteously received and assisted.
• Assist individuals with disabilities.  
• Escort any unauthorized/unwelcome guests from the property without disrupting the orderly flow of property operations.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all Veranda Beach personal
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Support other company departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Performs facility maintenance work as assigned.
• Performs daily maintenance to pool and equipment.
• Monitors sprinkler systems for proper operation and files repair orders as needed.
• To be aware and knowledgeable of Veranda Beach facility including all fire and first aid equipment.
• To file all hourly and daily reports prior to end of shift cycle.

Security personal is to maintain the highest level of standards and courtesy. Performing all duties in a safe and professional manner.  While staying abreast of new developments, alert and attentive for their entire shift. Making themselves available at a moment’s notice. Veranda Beach Homeowners Association has the right to exercise Drug or Alcohol Testing.
