As a Security Officer Lobby Security in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in an education location, where you will help create a welcoming presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and other security-related responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating entry procedures in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
• Observe front desk activity and surrounding entry areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with direction and information, and support daily operations within an educational location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
