Job Description:

As a Security Officer Licensed Armed Patrol Driver in Camden, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location as an armed officer with driving responsibilities. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine inspections, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support site operations with strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $20.36 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions within a highly regulated aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support the protection of sensitive materials, equipment, and information through established security-related procedures.
  • Support emergency preparedness and operational continuity by following post orders, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with evacuations, lockdowns, and other site-directed response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
