As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Driver in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Due to the safety sensitive nature of this role,qualified candidates must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law. This assignment is in a healthcare facility. As such, a tuberculosis (TB) test and certain vaccinations may be required.

What You'll Do:
Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)
Transport deceased patients to the morgue, as needed
Assist in escorting patients from helicopter pad (high elevation) to the emergency room
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, offering directions and assistance while reporting unusual behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Support a professional environment by following post orders, assisting with routine security-related checks, and communicating clearly with staff, patients, visitors, and/or first responders during daily operations and unusual events.
