Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, assist with visitor direction, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Assist with security-related responses involving medical facilities, including alarm conditions, after-hours activity, and/or requests for support from staff while maintaining a courteous presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
