Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this highly visible role, you will help create a smooth front desk experience through strong communication, attention to detail, and a people-first approach grounded in teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a front desk within an industrial location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity according to site guidelines.
  • Answer phones, assist employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation while helping to support organized daily operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
