As a Security Officer Front Desk Specialist in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy transportation location as a Front Desk professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support security-related operations with strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $17.48 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, manage access control processes, verify identification and/or visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and other front desk activity.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support security-related reporting, logging, and administrative tasks connected to front desk operations.
  • Observe lobby and entry areas for unusual activity and report concerns in a timely manner to help support site policies and security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Certified Protection Officer designation is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
