Security Officer - Entry Control Point

As a Security Officer - Entry Control Point in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support smooth site access for employees, visitors, and deliveries. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and other designated spaces.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, perimeter points, and receiving or shipping areas, as working conditions may vary by site.
• Support security-related screening and traffic flow processes for deliveries, pickups, and visitor arrivals, while providing clear directions and following post orders and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
