As a Security Officer Entry Access in Fort Mill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-support spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and/or vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site protocols and assigned post orders.
- Communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or onsite personnel regarding incidents, hazards, and other security-related matters while supporting daily site operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
