As a Security Officer - Entertainment Venue Patrol in Glendale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while interacting with guests, staff, and/or visitors throughout the day.

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail and entertainment location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information with site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior public areas, exterior walkways, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor foot traffic, observe guest interactions, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns that could impact daily operations.
• Support access control practices and closing procedures as assigned, helping to verify authorized entry to restricted areas and maintaining awareness of activity across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
