Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through the appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help support authorized access, observe daily activity, and assist with directing visitors and/or staff as needed.
• Communicate with local personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding incidents, facility concerns, and changing conditions while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
