As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and support access activity while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will help to deter security-related incidents while putting people first and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing inbound and outbound traffic, verifying credentials when appropriate, and reporting concerns involving people, vehicles, and/or shipments.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directional questions, and communicating clearly with site personnel regarding security-related issues and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
