As a Security Officer Distribution Facility  in Tualatin, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with professionalism and integrity while being part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to putting people first.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers entering and leaving the location, following post orders for access control, credential checks, and documentation of security-related events.
• Observe package handling, vehicle traffic, and/or operational activity for policy-related concerns, and report hazards, damaged property, suspicious behavior, and/or procedural issues in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
