As a Security Officer - Concierge Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and/or notifying appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter, noting conditions, access concerns, and/or security-related issues.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity to help support authorized access practices and report suspicious behavior.
- Assist staff, visitors, and/or vendors with directions, entry procedures, and other site-related questions while maintaining professional communication.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
