As a Security Officer Clearance Required Patrol Duty in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document security-related events, observations, and incidents according to post instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
CPR certification is preferred.
A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
