Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires an officer to be positioned in his own vehicle and monitor the containers that are coming from the client's exit gate and sign them in and out.
Shifts
Monday through Thursday – 11 pm - 7 am
Responsibilities
• Monitor the traffic of containers that are existing client gates and taking their information.
• Dispatch client representative and police in case unauthorized persons take client's goods or container.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
• Valid SORA Guard Card
• High school diploma/GED
• Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• First aid certification is highly desirable; CPR certification is a plus.
• Ability to use Ipad and other smart devices.
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
