Schedule

Full-Time Position

• Shift: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Additional opportunities for overtime may be available
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred

Position Overview

As a Bilingual Security Officer, you will serve as a visible and professional presence throughout a busy retail shopping center. You will help maintain a safe environment for shoppers, tenants, employees, and visitors while providing outstanding customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with security, customer service, military, law enforcement, hospitality, or public-facing experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols throughout the property
• Provide a professional and visible security presence
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
• Assist shoppers, visitors, and tenants with directions and general inquiries
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and emergencies
• Complete detailed activity and incident reports
• Monitor parking areas, storefronts, and common areas
• Enforce property rules and security procedures
• Work cooperatively with management, tenants, and local law enforcement
• De-escalate conflicts and resolve issues professionally
• Help ensure a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors

Qualifications

Required

• Fluent in both English and Spanish
• Active Maryland Security Guard License
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable Transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Dependable attendance and punctuality

Preferred (Not Required)

• Previous security experience
• Retail or shopping center experience
• Military or law enforcement background
• Customer service experience
• Experience writing reports and handling incidents
