Security Officer Bilingual - Retail Shopping Center
Blueline Security Services is hiring professional and reliable Security Officers to provide patrol services at a retail shopping center.
Position Overview
This position requires a strong visible presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with tenants and the public.
Schedule
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Type: Full-time position
Pay Rate
- $19.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Conduct foot and mobile patrols throughout the shopping center.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, loitering, and disturbances.
- Provide customer service and assist shoppers and tenants.
- Monitor for suspicious activity and safety concerns.
- Respond to incidents and complete detailed, accurate reports.
- Enforce post orders and property rules.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
- Active Maryland Security Guard License required.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior retail or shopping center security experience.
- Military experience is a plus.
