What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, docks, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, delivery issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, trailer, and/or delivery logs, report unusual activity, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing gates, parking areas, trailer lots, and loading areas for security-related issues and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to comfortably use a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
