As a Security Officer Badge Check Patrol in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to document observations according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exterior areas, and perimeter access points, to help to identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance, access control, and/or suspicious activity issues to the appropriate contact.
- Support a professional environment at a technology-focused location by providing clear directions, assisting with visitor questions, and communicating policy-related information as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
