Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. In this armed post, you will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that always acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense industry location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity in varied working conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or entry authorizations, and support the protection of sensitive property, equipment, and restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
  • Serve in an armed post in alignment with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, maintaining readiness to respond to security-related concerns while using sound judgment and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • At least 3 years of security-related experience, law enforcement experience, military police experience, and/or military experience is required.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
