What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, observing visitor traffic, and following post orders for restricted areas.
• Maintain readiness to perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, including proper handling of issued equipment and timely communication during routine and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
