As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Operator in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and values innovation.
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the interior, exterior, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious circumstances, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and assist with security-related inquiries and response efforts as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
