Security Officer Armed Patrol Investigator

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Investigator in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while responding with agility and reliability to daily site needs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activity and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and report concerns through proper channels while maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist with de-escalation, crowd observation, and incident response during busy shopping periods, store openings and closings, and other high-traffic times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess 3+ years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
