As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access authorizations, and report access control concerns or policy violations to site leadership.
• Support asset protection and security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, completing required reports, and following post orders, weapons handling standards, and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
