As a Airport Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic airport location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. In this government setting, you will support daily operations through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative culture.
Position Type: Full Time, Overnight
Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen , and physical exam.
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues according to site protocols.
Support orderly operations by giving directions, assisting with inquiries, and following post orders related to restricted areas, reporting procedures, and emergency notifications.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
