Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with professionalism while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity.
Position Type: Part Time, Overnight
Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and public agency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access activity and observe people, vehicles, and/or property throughout the location, documenting security-related incidents and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Support orderly operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting maintenance, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
