As a AirportSecurity Officer Patrol Coordinator in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset to every shift.
Position Type: Full Time, Afternoon
Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and public agency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, restricted areas, and credential requirements to help support authorized entry and report suspicious behavior, unattended property, and policy violations.
Assist with traffic flow, crowd management, and directional support during peak travel periods, special events, and/or operational disruptions while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
