Job Description:
As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time - Overnight
Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:
20+ Years of Age
Valid Drivers License
Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an airport location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
Document incidents, patrol activity, and daily observations in required logs and/or reports, and support assigned post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
