Security Officer Airport Dispatcher

As an AirportSecurity Officer - CCTV in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer service. In the CCTV unit, you will not only be monitoring CCTV cameras and coverage of all the airport property. This position also includes being dispatched to door and gate breaches to ensure procedures have not been violated.

Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon 

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• 21+ years of age
• Security Experience: 1+ years
• CCTV/Dispatch Experience: 1+ years
• Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast pace environment
• Must be able to pass a psychological evaluation 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity, unattended property, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support daily operations by providing directions, answering general questions, and assisting with crowd management, traffic flow observation, and other security-related duties appropriate to a government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
